Dog Friendly Cottage Cornwall
A truly Dog Friendly Cottage in Cornwall! Whilst many holiday cottages in Cornwall claim to be Dog Friendly Cottages, Burnt Toast Cottage really is! Situated in open countryside right on the Coastal path between Lamorna Cove and Mousehole Burnt Toast Cottage is over a mile away from the nearest road. There are great walks right on your doorstep and since there is no traffic anywhere near, your dogs can enjoy their holiday in Cornwall in complete safety. It's a great place for walking as our dogs Jack and Bunty will happily testify!
If you follow the Coastal Path that runs right in front of the cottage to the West you are literally a 10 minute walk from Lamorna Cove. As you can see from the photo (right) the landscape is amazingly beautiful with a turquiose sea and rugged granite rocks. Taking the Coastal path to the East you can head towards Mousehole passing through the sloping granite cliffs and the stunning coniferous woods that comprise the Kemyel Crease Nature Reserve.
To the front and side of Burnt Toast Cottage you can walk through the open fields that slope down to the sea. From here you can actually see the curvature of the Earth as you look out across the ocean. In the distance you can see the Lizard Peninsula and St. Michaels Mount and at dusk you can see the Lizard Lighthouse, the Tater Du lighthouse off Lamorna Cove and near the horizon the famous Bishop Rock Lighthouse off the Isles of Scilly.
A maximum of two well behaved dogs are welcome at Burnt Toast Cottage ONLY with prior permission from the owners of Burnt Toast Cottage. Please call us first to discuss your booking on: 01458 860566 or use our contact form
