Dog Friendly Cottages

The criteria for me was twofold - firstly, as a dog owner, the Cottage had to be Dog Friendly, with a fully enclosed garden. Somewhere where I could be sure that the dogs would be safe. Somewhere quiet and relaxing in a rural location, preferrably away from roads and traffic. Secondly, in an ideal world, the Cottage had to be not only Dog Friendly, but a Dog Friendly Cottage with Sea Views in a safe and secure location with plenty of nearby places for wonderful dog walks, long or short.
Having looked at a few potentially Cornish pet friendly Cottages, quite by chance I came across Burnt Toast Cottage in the tiny Hamlet of Kemyel Wartha, situated on the South West Coastal Path between Lamorna Cove and Mousehole.
Burnt Toast is the last of four Cottages in the Hamlet and surrounded by fields. Burnt Toast ticked ALL the boxes for me, apart from the price, but I guess if I wanted to own a pet friendly Cottage by the by the Sea, that was the price I had to pay and having the South West Coastal Path on the doorstep was a real bonus!
The South West Coast Path is not only the longest footpath in England but it runs right around the Cornish Coast and enjoys some of the most amazing Sea Views! The dogs absolutely love it! A Dog Friendly Cottage in Cornwall , ideal for Pet Friendly Holidays in Cornwall with a Sea View!
There are many Dog Friendly Beaches in this lovely part of West Cornwall but the beauty that surrounds the Cottage
is breathtaking! Not only does Burnt Toast Cottage enjoy magnificent sea views from every principal room, but has well
proportioned lawns to the front and sides - not only
Before I talk about the Dog Friendly Beaches in the area, it would be wrong not to give you a preview of the beauty surrounding this idyllic Cornish Pet Friendly Cottage..

The South West Coastal path runs right in front of the garden gate so to enjoy a lovely walk, you don't even have to get into your car! Just step onto the path and follow through the woodland and coastal trail down to Lamorna Cove where you can enjoy the Sea Views or maybe rest for a nice cream tea, maybe brunch or lunch a snack in the Lamorna Cove Cafe.
When fully refreshed you could choose either continue your Coastal Path walk towards The Minnack Theatre to the West or towards Mousehole to the East. Whichever way you go, you will witness some of the most amazing Sea Views imaginable!

If you take a right past the ruin and cross the fields within 10 minutes you are back on the Coastal Path by the rock formation known as the Old Man of Carn Du. From there you can enjoy panoramic sea views, with St Michaels Mount and the Lizard Peninsula to the East and Lamorna Cove to the West. Not only from there can you clearly witness the curvature of the Earth, but at dusk you can see three lighthouses, Lizard Point, Tata Du and across the sea to the Bishop Rock Lighthouse guarding the Scilly Isles
