Burnt Toast Cottage is a delightful traditional self catering Cornish cottage perched on the top of the cliffs above Lamorna Cove looking out to the Sea.
Few Cottages in Cornwall can boast such an idyllic location. Burnt Toast is situated on the South West coastal path between Lamorna Cove and Moushole. The cottage is situated far from any main road, at the end of a long track in the tiny hamlet of Kemyel Wartha, comprising of just four old farm cottages. There is no pollution from light or noise apart from the birds singing or the occasional sound of a passing fishing boat.
Burnt Toast Cottage is very Dog Friendly. Enjoying a fully enclosed garden the grounds are private and secure with a Cornish Hedge boundary and a five-bar gate. Being surrounded by open fields to the front and side there are magnificent Coastal Path walks right on your doorstep! Perfect for dogs and their humans!
Enjoying complete tranquillity, Burnt Toast Cottage is a real retreat - just the place to get away from it all and relax. Every principal room enjoys wonderful sea views. At night it is quite lovely to just watch the twinkling lights of the passing boats or to sit at the garden table with a glass of wine looking up at the stars.
Burnt Toast Cottage sleeps 5 comfortably and both towels and bedlinen are provided. To the rear of the property there is a walled gravelled parking area for about 6 cars. This beautiful traditional Cornish coastal is a real home from home.
Burnt Toast Cottage as with many local cottages in Cornwall, was constructed using local granite from Lamorna Cove. Originally built in the late 1800's this pretty, detached self catering Cornish cottage has three bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs plus a wet room/bathroom downstairs.
Having undergone a complete and sympathetic refurbishment in 2007 Burnt Toast Cottage has been equipped throughout with high quality furniture and appliances. Enjoying double glazed sash windows this cottage in Cornwall has been restored to the highest modern standards whilst retaining original features such as stripped pine woodwork and granite beams.
